Why the Internet of Things?
Connected objects are meant to occupy a prominent place in all aspects of our daily lives or in the development of new industrial processes. Smart Transport, Smart Health, Smart Buildings, in general will create new needs among consumers and new markets for companies thus creating huge business opportunities.
What type of event?
IoT Expo 2016 will allow startups, bigger companies, research centers, business angels and venture capitalists coming from 5 different countries (France and the V4 countries) to gather in a networking/B2B event in the heart of Central Europe to exchange knowledge, ideas, stories and opportunities.
Made in Slovakia
Because startups and more traditional manufacturing companies have a lot to share in the development of connected objects, we offer startups the opportunity to meet with CEOs of industrial companies in a “Made in Slovakia” event.

Organizers
IoT Expo Bratislava 2016 was developped by the Science & University Cooperation Departement and the Economic Departement of the French Embassy in Slovakia. IoT Expo Bratislava 2016 is organised by the French Embassy in Slovakia in close collaboration with the French-Slovak Chamber of Commerce.
The project V4 Connect France was launched in cooperation with the French Embassies and the others bilateral Chambers of Commerce in Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic.
IoT Expo Bratislava 2016 is the first of a series of events which will be organised each year in each of the V4 Countries on the topic of the technologies of the future.
